The interconnection between the lived body and the metaphysical mind heightens through sensory experience.
From emerging visual artist Elise Bonato, Arcane Beckoning explores through experimental and performance-based practice, ways of presenting versions of the sublime for a contemporary art context.
Featuring a body of new video, installation, painting and drawing work.
The artist will also be presenting a live drawing performance on opening night.

To be exhibited for Arcane Beckoning. Upcoming solo exhibition at The Mill in Adelaide, Australia from 14-29 August, as part of the South Australian Living Artist’s Festival.
SALA takes over an iconic city building for the first time ever, showcasing an eclectic mix of art works ranging from traditional illustration through to digital media and photography.
Artists’ on display in the City Library’s diverse spaces include Elise Bonato’s multimedia exhibition, James Boulton’s painting and animation, Chopped Collective’s textile work, Annette Willis’ print and digital photography, and sculpture by Graham Shaw.

From emerging visual artist Elise Bonato, covet. presents a visceral exchange amidst space, painting and video installation to create a dialogue exploring contemporary ideologies of beauty.
Through experimental and performance-based practice, her work aims to explore and illustrate new versions of the sublime for a contemporary art context.
This exhibition is part of the South Australian Living Artist’s Festival.
Join Entropy and the artist on August 1st from 5:30pm onwards to celebrate the opening of this exhibition while enjoying the splendour of local South Australian gourmet as part of Char/Bar night.
